Growing up on Green Lake in Michigan, water has always been home to me. My mom taught me the basics of fishing, and we’d spend countless days on the boat, playing catch & release. When my dad was home from work, we’d go on little adventures exploring new areas trying to catch different species. I soaked in everything I could about the water.
Fishing has always been a way of life for me. It’s a love that’s been passed down through generations — from my parents to me, and from me to my kids and grandkids. Now I’m here to help you make the most of your time on the water, just like I’ve been able to do with my family.
Fishing isn’t just about reeling in the biggest catch. It’s about the memories you make with the people who matter most. I was reminded of this one day after my dad passed when I decided to recreate an old lure he gave me that I sadly lost off the coast of Florida. When I held that hand-poured lead replica of my Dad’s lure, I was instantly transported back to every adventure we shared, every lesson he taught me, and every story told. That’s when it all hit me and crafting lures became much more than just a hobby.
